Happy New Year!
I can't believe 2019 is here! Do you have New Years' Resolutions? I refer to them as goals, that way if I "fall off the wagon", I just get back up, dust myself off and keep going! Some "goals" have been on my list for several years. Last year I finally accomplished the scrapbooks for my boys. This year the goal that has been on the list for several years is practice my piano. Right now I'm aiming for 3 times/week for 30 minutes... I think I can, I think I can...
Do you have quilt goals? I do! Some of my goals this year are:
1. Finish my blue bed quilt. I'm almost ready for the sashing, so I think this one is doable.
2. Finish my wool/ flannel quilt. Consider it for a BOM. I really haven't decided...
3. Continue my studio remodel. The fireplace is getting installed in a few weeks. I hope to start the electrical upgrades this spring. That means I have to tear out all the old paneling and ceiling tile. I don't want to do this until I have the $$ in the bank and electricians scheduled. What a mess it will create!
I would love to hear about some of your goals. Please leave a comment! If you need help getting those quilts cut out, please ask me to help! I can help you get your quilts done in no time!
Joy Framed, block 340 was the mixed technique block for December. Sarah Vanderburgh is the designer. Head over to her blog here to see what else she has going on.
Here is my block. I am still working on my needle turn technique.

My weekly tips and tricks video is really short. My sidekick was too busy playing with Christmas gifts to help...
I hope you have a productive quilty New Year!
