Q1: I'm worried about fabric bleed with your pre cut appliques. Do you treat the fabric in any way?

A1: I do pre wash my fabrics and I treat them with ReTayne--a chemical that stops fabric bleed.  I also use color catchers to be sure that the fabric is not going to bleed anymore.

Q2: What sort of fusible do you use?

A2: I use Heat N Bond Featherlight.  It is difficult to find in stores (the regular light can be found quite easily), so I buy it from a major quilt distributor.  If you are having custom work done, feel free to mail me whatever fusible you would like me to use.

Q3: Are you only able to cut the patterns you have on your website?

A3:  Goodness, no! I can cu any pattern that is out there!  I DO require, however, that you OWN the pattern that I am cutting. No copies from a friend, etc.  Free patterns from the internet are slightly different on a case by case basis.  Copyright is something I take very seriously!  A pattern designer earns her living from selling patterns.  If her living is hampered by copyright infringement, she (or he!) may stop creating patterns for us to enjoy!

Q4: Do you sell wholesale?

A4: I do! If you are ordering a large enough quantity I will consider wholesale pricing.  Most quilt teachers who are using a pattern in a class and would like all the kits pre cut would qualify for wholesale pricing!  Email me to get started! customquiltkits@yahoo.com

A5: On most items in the US, yes.  Internationally, no.
