Another BOM?
Hi Everyone!
I am on Fall Break this week, but whew! it feels like summer outside! I finally gave in tonight and turned the AC back on. UGH! AC in mid-October? Bring on the cooler temps!
I have been thinking about doing another BOM (block of the month) for some time. I came across this book while scrolling through Amazon the other day (hey! what's a Mom to do during football and baseball practice??).
It's the book by Jennifer Chiaverini, Sylvia's Bridal Sampler.

I know, I know, this book has been around for a while. How many of you have it sitting on your shelf and have never made any of the blocks because of all the cutting?
My BOM would solve that problem for you! All you would do is sit down and sew! I would also offer a private FB group for those who are interested where I would demo how to put the pieces together or offer advice on block construction. If I made the blocks scrappy, you could post a pic of your block in the group and we could compare the different color combos. Just a thought.
I would love to know a few answers to some questions I have...
1. Would you prefer a 6" or 12" block?
2. If 6" blocks, how many would you like to receive every month? 3? 5?
3. If we don't do all the blocks as part of the BOM, would you be interested in custom ordering the rest of the blocks and/or a custom layout to finish your quilt top? (there are several pics in the book of this quilt on point...stunning!)
